Britain's first public museum is the Ashmolean Museum and it is also the oldest university museum in the world(Fun fact of the day!). In 1677, it received its first collection, called the cabinet of curiosities from Elias Ashmole.

Last week, I went to the Fashion and Textiles Museum in Bermondsey, with my sister, for coursework. A famous designer, Orla Kiely had an exhibition going on. She has a creative style and creates a variety of patterns and prints that are eye catching.
If you think fashion isn't for you, there's a range of different museums, such as history, design, science, art. Museums are good because they allow you to view a number of artists and designers' works and styles. Museums even have activities going on such as quilt making(fashion) and the red arrows ride( science).
